Notes

'Prima Donna' rose (Rosa 'Prima Donna') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Deep pink blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Takeshi Shirakawa bred it in 1944. The bushy plant reaches about 67 to 71 inches tall.

Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Nelly Moser clematis, and Lily.
