Notes

'Prima Saffron' coneflower (Echinacea 'Prima Saffron') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Bee balm, and Red-hot poker.
