Notes

'Prince Bernhard' rose (Rosa 'Prince Bernhard') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The medium red blooms are fragrant and open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Gerald Adriaan Van Rossem bred it in 1937.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Little bluestem, Nelly Moser clematis, and Queen of Night tulip.
