Notes

'Principal' daffodil (Narcissus 'Principal') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The fragrant flowers are chrome yellow with a darker, notched cup, and bees and butterflies visit them. G.L. Wilson bred it.

Pairs well with Cora Louise peony, Blue fescue, and Weigela.
