Notes

'Prominent' rose (Rosa 'Prominent') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright with medium green leaves and fragrant orange-red blooms. Bees visit the flowers from late spring into early autumn. Reimer Kordes bred it in 1971.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Prairie dropseed, and African marigold.
