Proud Parrot tulip

Garden uses

Notes

'Proud Parrot' tulip (Tulipa 'Proud Parrot') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows about 16 inches tall and blooms in white from early to late spring. Cut a few stems for a vase and leave the rest to brighten the border. E.Konijn bred it.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Claire de Lune peony, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
