Notes

'Purple Jacket' tulip (Tulipa 'Purple Jacket') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Purple blooms open from early to late spring on stems 12 to 24 inches tall. Savro B.V. bred it. The flowers also work well in a vase.

Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Siberian squill, and Bridal Crown daffodil.
