Notes

'Purple Pavement' rose (Rosa 'Purple Pavement') is a shrub for borders, hedges, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Fragrant mauve blooms open from early to late summer and attract bees. The leaves turn attractive colors in fall. Karl Baum bred it in 1987 as a seedling of 'White Hedge'.

Pairs well with Candy Stripe moss phlox, Cerise Queen yarrow, Red fescue, and Pencil Point common juniper.
