Notes
'QIS Dark Blue' larkspur (Delphinium ajacis 'QIS Dark Blue') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Blue flowers open from early to late summer and attract butterflies and bees. It belongs to an excellent series for cut-flower production.
Pairs well with Double Zahara Cherry zinnia, Rock soapwort, and Red fescue.
