'QIS Lilac' larkspur (Delphinium ajacis 'QIS Lilac') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It handles cool weather and a light frost. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Lavender flowers open from early to late summer and draw butterflies and bees. This series is excellent for cut-flower production. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Double Zahara Cherry zinnia, Rock soapwort, and Red fescue.
