Notes

'Queen of the Prairies' rose (Rosa 'Queen of the Prairies') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Pink blooms open from early to late summer and are often striped deep pink. The flowers are fragrant and bring in bees. Samuel Feast bred it in 1843.
