Notes
'Queensland' tulip (Tulipa 'Queensland') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Dark pink-red flowers open from early to late spring on stems 12 to 24 inches tall. Vertuco B.V. bred it.
Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, White Splendour Greek thimbleweed, and Valerie Finnis Armenian grape hyacinth.
