Notes

'Qun Xing Shan Shuo' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Qun Xing Shan Shuo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Each stem carries one deep pink anemone flower, but a plant can hold 30 blooms. It stays short and broad, so it needs no support and suits the near border. Jun Tao bred it.

Pairs well with New England aster, Switchgrass, and Lupine.
