Rainbow Silence dahlia

Notes

'Rainbow Silence' dahlia (Dahlia 'Rainbow Silence') is a bulb for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. The cactus-type flowers show shades of peach and coral with yellow eyes. They open in early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. Winter wet can harm it, so plant it where the soil stays dry or lift and store the tubers indoors in a cool, dry spot.

Pairs well with Globemaster allium, Shenandoah switchgrass, Purple sage, and Elfin mother of thyme.
