Notes

'Raspberry Firefly' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Raspberry Firefly') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant cherry-red to deep pink blooms open in early to mid spring on stems with good strength. Each stem carries 1 to 4 buds. Roy G. Klehm bred it in 1995.

Pairs well with Lupine, Switchgrass, and Meadowsweet.
