Notes

'Raspberry Rose' peony (Paeonia 'Raspberry Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The Japanese type pink flowers are fragrant and have an odd shade, as the name suggests. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Auten bred it in 1956.

Pairs well with Creeping phlox, Nodding onion, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
