Notes

'Red Magic' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Red Magic') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Fragrant red blooms appear in early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It sits low on the menu for rabbits. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Incrediball hydrangea, Nodding onion, and Western sword fern.
