Notes

'Red Parrot' peony (Paeonia 'Red Parrot') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant blooms attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. William S. Bockstoce bred it.

Pairs well with June hosta, Switchgrass, and Stargazer lily.
