Notes

'Red Pixie' lilac (Syringa 'Red Pixie') is a shrub for borders, hedges, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant blooms draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer. This shrub is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Lady's mantle, Columbine, and Quick Fire panicle hydrangea.
