Notes

'Bloomerang Ballet' lilac (Syringa 'Bloomerang Ballet') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Cytherea peony, Western sword fern, Little Beauty tulip, and Ageratum.
