Notes

'Red Planet' rose (Rosa 'Red Planet') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The dark red blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Patrick Dickson bred it in 1970.

Pairs well with Catnip, Lilac, Lily, and Cornflower.
