Notes

'Red Riding Hood' rose (Rosa 'Red Riding Hood') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its dark red blooms are fragrant and attract bees. Flowers open in late spring, again from early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Wilhelm Alexander Kordes bred it in 1955.

Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, Ornamental onion, Fountain grass, and Pink.
