Notes

'Red Tinkerbelle' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Red Tinkerbelle') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Semi-double magenta red blooms open from mid to late spring into early summer. The stems are strong enough to hold up to 5 blossoms, so it works well for cutting. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Virginia spiderwort, Blue sage, and Cinnamon fern.
