Notes
'Redon' peony (Paeonia 'Redon') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Each plant bears flowers in two colors, pale pink with a bluish tint and peach. The blossoms average 10 inches across and open in early to late spring.
Pairs well with Green Spice coral bells, Foxglove, and Big bluestem.
