Notes
'Rembrandt' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rembrandt') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its blooms are red, so they bring bold color to a bed. Cut stems for bouquets when you want color indoors. Max Josef Goos bred it in 1920.
Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Cinnamon fern, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
