Notes

'Repanda' common juniper (Juniperus communis 'Repanda') is a shrub for borders and ground cover, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It stays low at 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads wide, so give it room. It is evergreen and drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Rock soapwort, Red fescue, and Scentara Pura lilac.
