Notes

'Hibernica' common juniper (Juniperus communis 'Hibernica') is a tree for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows in a tight column that reaches about 5 to 15 feet tall and stays 2 to 4 feet wide. This evergreen tolerates drought and grows at a moderate pace.

Pairs well with Hoopsii Colorado spruce, Red fescue, and Pearly everlasting.
