Notes

'Green Carpet' common juniper (Juniperus communis 'Green Carpet') is a shrub for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. The evergreen foliage stays on the plant through winter. Deer tend to pass it by. It is drought tolerant and spreads 24 to 36 inches, so give it room.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Arizona Sun blanket flower, and Ice Follies daffodil.
