Notes

'Residenz' rose (Rosa 'Residenz') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium pink, fragrant blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and again in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Reinhard Noack bred it, and the glossy, dark green leaves stay attractive between flushes.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Clary sage, and Nelly Moser clematis.
