Notes
'Resplendent' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Resplendent') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears immense, full white rose type flowers in late spring. The blooms can measure nine inches across and sit on good stems above handsome foliage. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it.
Pairs well with Tickseed, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Cinnamon fern.
