Notes
Rex begonia (Begonia rex-cultorum) is a perennial for annual beds. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part to full shade and average moisture. It stays about 12 to 18 inches tall and wide, so it fits easily in a small shaded bed or a pot.
Pairs well with Coleus, Angel wings, New guinea impatiens, and Sparkler sedge.
