Notes

'Robustissima' windflower (Eriocapitella tomentosa 'Robustissima') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates salt. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and flowers from early to late summer and again in autumn.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, White Swan coneflower, and Flamingo eulalia.
