Notes

'Hadspen Abundance' Japanese thimbleweed (Eriocapitella hupehensis 'Hadspen Abundance') is a perennial for borders, low maintenance beds, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Rose pink flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Sedge, and Big bluestem.
