Rocket tulip

Garden uses

Notes

'Rocket' tulip (Tulipa 'Rocket') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms in early to late spring. It grows about 20 inches tall, so it adds height to a bed. The tall stems also work well when you cut them for a vase.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Lemon Chiffon peony, and Little bluestem.
