Notes
'Rockport Bigarreau' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Rockport Bigarreau') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. The columnar habit suits smaller spaces. Spring blooms draw butterflies and bees, and the fruit is grown for eating fresh. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for pollination.
Pairs well with Small-leaved lime, Charles Joly lilac, Thalia daffodil, and Aromatic aster.
