Notes

'Stella' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Stella') is a tree for borders, pollinator gardens, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is grown for eating fresh, and the fruit ripens in mid season. The tree is self-fertile, so you do not need a second tree for fruit. Dr Charles Lapins bred it.

Pairs well with Crab apple, Perennial candytuft, Garlic chives, and Feather reed grass.
