Notes

'Bing' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Bing') is a tree for borders, food gardens, and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is grown for eating fresh. Bing is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for pollination. The fruit can crack where summer rain is common.

Pairs well with Serviceberry, Blueberry, and Feather reed grass.
