Notes

'Roi Soleil' rose (Rosa 'Roi Soleil') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium yellow, fragrant blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the leaves are glossy and light green. Francois Dorieux I bred it in 1962.

Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Baby's breath, Switchgrass, and Inkberry.
