Notes

'Romantic Lace' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Romantic Lace') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Lavender-pink flowers with creamy, lacy centers open in early summer and have a mild, pleasing fragrance. The dense plant stands upright to 30 inches and needs no staking. Robert William Tischler bred it.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Queen of Night tulip, and Cinnamon fern.
