Notes

'Rose Pearl' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rose Pearl') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, double blooms are light rose pink, shaded lighter, and open in mid to late spring into early summer. Stems reach 32 to 36 inches tall. Myron D. Bigger bred it in 1963.

Pairs well with Wild ginger, Cinnamon fern, and Shrub rose.
