Notes
'Rose' sedum (Sedum pachyphyllum 'Rose') is a succulent for containers, rock gardens, and dry beds. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry soil. It forms short-trunked colonies with cylindrical, powder blue leaves like elongated jelly beans. Yellow flowers open in early to late summer.
Pairs well with Douglas iris, Creeping zinnia, and Heavy Metal switchgrass.
