Notes
'Roseomarginata' European beech (Fagus sylvatica 'Roseomarginata') is a tree for specimen planting, large gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. The leaves show burgundy, green, pink, and white, and they turn copper in fall. The deepest color comes in full sun, and it needs no pruning.
Pairs well with Silver linden, Ornamental onion, Ebony spleenwort, and Purple lovegrass.
