Notes

'Rosyjane' gaura (Oenothera lindheimeri 'Rosyjane') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows in mounds about a foot tall, topped with wands of pink single flowers that attract butterflies and bees from spring into fall. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Rubinglow coneflower, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Monch tartarian aster.
