Notes

'Stratosphere White' gaura (Oenothera lindheimeri 'Stratosphere White') is an annual for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows in a clumping form at a moderate pace and tolerates drought. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blue-eyed grass, Blue grama, and Ornamental onion.
