Notes

'Roter Drache' rose (Rosa 'Roter Drache') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright to about 31 inches tall and 20 inches wide. Medium red blooms appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Kordes bred it in 2012.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Creeping thyme, and Stargazer lily.
