Notes

'Rouge Royale' rose (Rosa 'Rouge Royale') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The large red flowers have a strong scent of sweet citrus and ripe berries. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. The Conard-Pyle Company introduced it in 2001.

Pairs well with Niobe clematis, Fountain grass, and Casa Blanca lily.
