Notes
Roundleaf chastetree (Vitex rotundifolia) is a shrub for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy soil. It grows fast and spreads wide, so give it plenty of room. The gray-green leaves are fragrant, and the blue-purple flowers attract butterflies. It tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Rock rose, Society garlic, and Blue star creeper.
Native range
Asia to Australia.
