Notes

'Route 66' 66 tickseed (Coreopsis 'Route 66') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or clay soil. The yellow flowers have a red eye ring and bloom in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Little bluestem, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Hummelo betony.
