Notes

'Royal Occasion' rose (Rosa 'Royal Occasion') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant orange-red blooms open from early to late summer and attract bees. H. Wheatcroft introduced it in 1976.

Pairs well with Quick Fire panicle hydrangea, Burnet, and Casa Blanca lily.
