Notes

'Rubaiyat' rose (Rosa 'Rubaiyat') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright shrub has dark green leaves and fragrant, deep pink blooms. Flowers open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Walter Irwin Johnston bred it in 1946.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Blue wild indigo, and Little bluestem.
